Community, Cycling & Companion Experiences

Simply Sorcha exists at the intersection of cycling, companionship, nightlife, activism, Irish culture, and queer community.

Founded by Sorcha Rosa — former elite cyclist, activist, writer, and public figure — the project brings together private companion experiences, cycling initiatives, community organising, creative work, and grassroots activism in Ireland and across Europe.

Whether through guided cycling experiences, private travel companionship, public speaking, nightlife hosting, community events, or collaborative projects, the aim is always the same: creating spaces built around connection, freedom, visibility, pleasure, and shared experience.

Private Companion Experiences

Alongside activism and cycling work, Sorcha Rosa offers personalised companion experiences for visitors travelling to Ireland.

These experiences may include:

  • private cycling and travel experiences
  • dinner and evening companionship
  • nightlife and cultural hosting
  • social companionship for visitors and professionals
  • tailored Irish itineraries
  • cycling event weekends
  • intimate one-to-one time
  • travel support and local guidance

Experiences are discreet, inclusive, personalised, and designed around chemistry, conversation, adventure, and connection.

Cycling Culture & Arcane Cycling Team

Cycling remains central to the Simply Sorcha project.

Through Arcane Cycling Team and the Bicycle Design Centre, Sorcha continues to support inclusive cycling spaces, community rides, vintage cycling culture, beginner support, and alternative approaches to cycling outside traditional gatekeeping structures.

Projects range from:

cycling tourism and guided experiences

community rides

track cycling sessions

cycling workshops

queer-friendly cycling spaces

vintage cycling culture

cycling media and storytelling

Activism & Public Work

Sorcha Rosa’s activism focuses on trans, queer, and intersex visibility, bodily autonomy, healthcare justice, and challenging exclusion in sport and public life.

This work includes:

  • public speaking
  • media appearances
  • policy engagement
  • European advocacy work
  • writing and commentary
  • community organising
  • collaborative cultural projects

Rather than separating activism from pleasure, nightlife, cycling, intimacy, or companionship, Simply Sorcha approaches them as connected parts of living visibly and freely.
