Community Cycling

Simply Sorcha exists at the intersection of cycling, activism, Irish culture, and queer community.

Founded by Sorcha Rosa – former elite cyclist, activist, writer, and public figure – the project brings together cycling initiatives, community organising, creative work, and grassroots activism in Ireland and across Europe.

Whether through guided cycling experiences, public speaking, community events, or collaborative projects, the aim is always the same: creating spaces built around connection, freedom and shared experience.

Events

Sorcha Rosa is available for speaking engagements, panel discussions, conferences, debates, workshops, podcasts and media appearances in Ireland and internationally.

Drawing on extensive experience in intersex and LGBTQIA+ rights, socialist feminism, women’s health, equality, sport and cycling, Sorcha brings a direct, informed and lived perspective to complex and often contested conversations.
